Pledge and tulips

So when you come home to a clean house and the fresh scent of pledge is meeting your nose at every piece of well dusted furniture, and you round the corner to the kitchen and somebody has just gone one small extra step and stopped at the local florist he passes on the way home to get you 10 tulips (smithfield florist special...9.99)..you know its going to be a nice evening. Even if you spent all day in the macab tv setting of "docu-drama".

Other than missing Sadie Bug Vann..life is good. My heart hurts without her.

Walmart greeter!

I cant do it. I just cant get dressed..dressed hair done , war paint on to spend another day in an isolated cell..zero interaction other than the occasional tap on the door from a producer who is starting to panic . So I shower, dress in a slightly well thought out out fit that looks my age but still says.."I'm 35 not your grandma.." In my outfit, in my cell, showered, ready for war..watching the same shot a 10001 times till I can find the magic point where i make the cut..Or maybe I just say screw trying the magic point. I'll just throw an effect on there. That is what every one does now anyway. Sitting in my cell..watching that shot now for the 10002nd time realizing I have become completely desensitized to what is going on in the story...that a story about a serial killer killing 5 Gainsville students, a grandfather his granddaughter and her nephew..has zero emotional effect on me. The interviews of investigators..medical examiners poring there soul out on to HDV about this story and all I care is that I can get a clean cut in between the words "been and mutilated"...going back to editing seemed like a good idea at the time.
Maybe walmart is hiring.

From newborn to ninety

This shoot made me miss MAS. I was thankful though to share in the sweet moments between these two. He was very fussy and once in her arms he just fell fast asleep. It was magic. Babies feed off the energy we put out and brooding grandmas with nervous new mothers can play havoc on fresh souls. In the arms of his great grandma he felt peace...you could just tell.

SPRING BREAK

So when I moved here I didn't want to take Bug out of school so she stayed in Florida to finish out the school year. I figure both children have had enough adjustments to make. She came up for spring break and these are some pictures. Being without her is heart breaking but sometimes the right decisions for our children are heartbreaking. So what else could I do but try and spoil the crap out of her while I had her.

Highlights!!!!

She is so FABULOUS!!!!

It was such a great time..Tommy was so happy to see her. They didn't argue for a whole two hours!

Here is Mike and his son Brock. Brock came up for spring break. Everyone got along great.

Ha..ha..ha..

Still laughing and this guy just might have something to do with it ;)

Here are a couple of pictures I did for a friend this weekend..Taking pictures of babies and new moms is so much better than the military stuff I've been shooting. I just put a few together to show mostly Amy (and forgive me I dont know how to link her..)I dont want to bore you guys...

Things are good here ..Ill put pictures of people you actually do know soon.

Laughing Again

I am so happy that I sometimes cant even stand being with myself. Over a year ago if someone told me that I would have what I have today I would have probably slapped them for being a cruel liar! I am living in PIG town Virginia (Smithfield) and I love it. I love living in the country...I am practicing for my return to Southern Illinois.

For those of you who are trying to keep up with me..I am divorced..(yes AGAIN) God works in mysterious ways that is for sure!! I have an AMAZING boyfriend (am i too old to say boyfriend?) He is from Chicago.

I am back to editing TV shows..trying to get a picture taking business off and running...and pretty much just enjoying my life essentially starting over. Things are good!
(sorry you have to look up my nose to know that I am happy)
